[4] Tomlinson came through the youth system at the Bradford Bulls, making his debut in the 2017 season.
[6] Tomlinson left the Bulls at the end of 2017 to join the Batley Bulldogs ahead of the 2018 RFL Championship.
On 26 Jan 2024 it was reported that he had signed for Featherstone Rovers in the RFL Championship on a 1-year deal.
[9] In July 2024, Tomlinson re-joined Dewsbury Rams on loan for the rest of the season as part of a swap deal with Featherstone Rovers.
[12] In 2022 he was named in the Jamaica squad for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.
