The city of Longville is located entirely within Kego Township geographically but is a separate entity.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 465 people, 200 households, and 138 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 85.38% White, 13.12% Native American, 0.22% Asian, and 1.29% from two or more races.

25.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
