Kerry South (Dáil constituency)

Kerry South was a parliamentary constituency represented in Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament or Oireachtas, from 1937 to 2016.

The method of election was proportional representation by means of the single transferable vote (PR-STV).

Following the death of Fianna Fáil TD Honor Crowley, a by-election was held on 7 December 1966.

The seat was won by the Fianna Fáil candidate Honor Crowley, widow of the deceased TD.

Following the resignation of Fine Gael TD Fionán Lynch upon his appointment as a judge, a by-election was held on 10 November 1944.
