Kevin M. Guskiewicz (/ɡʌs.kəˈwɪts/ GUS-kə-wits; born April 8, 1966) is an American academic administrator, currently serving as the 22nd president of Michigan State University since March 2024.
[3] Guskiewicz received a Bachelor of Science with a major in athletic training from West Chester University in Pennsylvania in 1989.
[4] Guskiewicz later joined the NFL’s head, neck, and spine committee,[5] and collaborated with the NCAA.
[6] Guskiewicz was a neuroscientist, sports medicine researcher, and the Kenan Distinguished Professor at UNC-Chapel Hill.
[9] On January 1, 2016, he was appointed as the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
