Khoshk Rud (Persian: خشك رود)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Khoshk Rud Rural District[4] of Rudbast District, Babolsar County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,450 in 368 households.

It was the most populous village in its rural district.
