Kii-Shinjō Station

Kii-Shinjō Station (紀伊新庄駅, Kii-Shinjō-eki) is a passenger railway station in located in the city of Tanabe, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West).

Kii-Shinjō Station is served by the Kisei Main Line (Kinokuni Line), and is located 283.2 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Kameyama Station and 103.0 kilometers from Shingū.

Kii-Shinjō Station opened on December 20, 1933.

With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company.
