Kikół [ˈkikuu̯] is a town in Lipno County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland.
[2] It was located on a trade route connecting Płock and Płońsk with Toruń.
[3] In 1685, it became a possession of Wojciech Jan Zboiński [pl] of Ogończyk coat of arms.
[2] In 1827, Kikół was visited by young Fryderyk Chopin, who gave a concert at the palace.
[2] During the German occupation of Poland (World War II), Poles from Kikół were among the victims of large massacres of Poles from the county carried out by the Germans in nearby Karnkowo as part of the Intelligenzaktion.
