Stringston is a village and civil parish on the northern edge of the Quantock Hills in the English county of Somerset.

Conservation matters (including trees and listed buildings) and environmental issues are also the responsibility of the council.

It is also part of the Tiverton and Minehead county constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.

The Church of St Mary dates from the 17th century and has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building.
