Kim Tae-young (footballer, born 1970)

Kim Tae-young (born 8 November 1970) is a South Korean football manager and former player who played as a defender.

Kim played for the South Korea national team as a centre-back or left back, and was a participant in 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cup.

In the 2002 World Cup, he formed South Korea's defensive trio with Hong Myung-bo and Choi Jin-cheul, and contributed to South Korea's fourth-place finish.
