In March 2007, it was announced that Spencer Lewis would be appointed the new headteacher of the school, replacing the previous headmaster, Rabbi James Kennard.
According to The Jewish Chronicle, for 2011 non-Jewish students would make up 40% of the school.
In the middle of 2013 it was announced that Spencer Lewis would be leaving Kantor King Solomon for other opportunities as Headmaster at Yavneh College.
In November 2016, the school was before formally renamed Kantor King Solomon High School after donations from Dr Moshe Kantor, the president of the European Jewish Congress.
[2] Following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Dr Moshe Kantor has been sanctioned by the UK government [3] and the school has been renamed back to King Solomon High School.
