Klaten Regency

The 2006 Yogyakarta earthquake damaged the area, located near the active Mount Merapi volcano on the border between Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta, The 2010 eruptions of Mount Merapi had a great impact on Klaten and its surrounding areas.
