Klipriviersberg is a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa.

It is located in Region F of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.

Prior to the discovery of gold on the Witwatersrand in 1886, the suburb lay on land on one of the original farms called Klipriviersberg.

[2] It was established on part of the farm own by Jan Meyer, a member of the South African Republic's Volksraad and became a suburb 29 June 1943.

[2] Currently known as the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, the area contains several hiking routes along a stream that lead up to natural rock pools in which swimming is allowed.
