Knockatallon or Knockatallan (Irish: Cnoc an tSalainn, meaning 'hill of salt') is a hamlet and townland in the north of County Monaghan in Ireland, being located in the parish of Tydavnet.

The Knockatallan name is also used by locals to refer to a larger area including several other townlands such as Knockacullion and Corlat.

In recent times Knockatallon has been largely eclipsed by a neighbouring townland of Corlat as a community centre.

St Joseph's Catholic church is located in the townland of Corlat.
