Kodreti (pronounced [kɔˈdɾeːti]; Italian: Codreti) is a small village east of Štanjel in the Municipality of Komen in the Littoral region of Slovenia next to the border with Italy.
It is dedicated to Saint Catherine and belongs to the Diocese of Koper.
[3] Originally the church stood on Lukovnik Hill above the village.
It was abandoned and demolished after the religious reforms of Joseph II were put into effect.
The current church was built in 1879 and extended in 1896, when the belfry was added.
