Kenimekh district

The capital lies at the town Kenimekh.

[1] It has an area of 9,250 km2 (3,570 sq mi)[2] and its population is 36,200 (2021 est.).

[3] The district consists of 5 urban-type settlements (Kenimekh, Balaqaraq, Mamiqchi, Shoʻrtepa, Zafarobod) and 7 rural communities.

[1] Until 2018, when it became part of Kenimekh district, the town Zafarobod was part of the Gʻijduvon District (Bukhara Region).
