Krøyers Plads

Krøyers Plads is a waterfront mixed-use development in the Christianshavn neighbourhood of central Copenhagen, Denmark.

[1] The northern part of the area was acquired by the Royal Greenland Trade Department in the 1790s and became known as Grønlandske Handels Plads.

In April 2004, NCC acquired Krøyers Plads with the intention of realizing Egeraat's winning proposal.

The new plan for the area was presented in May 2006 but it is once again rejected by City Hall and the project is put on hold as a result of the Financial Crisis.

A new plan for the area was subsequently created by Vilhelm Lauritzen Arkitekter, Cobe and GHB Landskabsarkitekter.
