Kraków Bishops Palace, Warsaw

The Kraków Bishops Palace (Polish: Pałac Biskupów Krakowskich w Warszawie) was the residence of the bishops of Cracow in Warsaw.

It was in poor repair by the mid-18th century and was extensively rebuilt in the late Baroque style by bishop Kajetan Sołtyk between 1760 and 1762, giving it the two storey appearance shown in the 1777 painting Miodowa Street.

It was rebuilt to designs by Ludwik Borawski and Wenceslas Podlewski between 1948 and 1950 as the headquarters of PZL, using the painting as a source.
