Kraków Gate (Lublin)

It was built in the 14th century during the reign of Casimir the Great.

[3] The tower is one of the last remaining components of the original Lublin city walls.

[4] It provided access to routes leading to Kraków.

[4] According to historian Zygmunt Gloger, the tower was probably produced on the order and support of Casimir the Great in 1342.

"[5] In 2018, archeological work at the site suggested that a medieval cemetery had existed nearby.
