Krasny Avenue

Krasny Prospekt (Russian: Красный проспект) or Krasny Avenue (lit.

Red Avenue) is the central street and major thoroughfare in the city of Novosibirsk, Russia.

Until 1920, it was known as the Nikolaevsky Prospekt (Russian: Никола́евский проспект) or Nicholas' Avenue.

It runs across the central part of the city starting from the right bank of the Ob River and terminates in the vicinity of Severny Airport.

Four Novosibirsk Metro stations are located on the street: Ploshchad Lenina, Krasny Prospekt, Gagarinskaya and Zayeltsovskaya.

The Avenue between 1925 and 1929. The chapel will be demolished in 1930.
