The club was founded on June 15th 2005, when IFK Ungdom parted ways with IFK Kristianstad.

The club was first promoted to the Allskenskan in 2013.

[1] In 2014 they came second, but missed promotion to the top flight after losing the playoff against Heid IK.

In 2015 promotion was finally achieved.

[2] In 2019 theteam were relegated again after getting only 7 points in the 2018-19 league season.
