The municipal area comprises the cadastral communities of Pritschitz (Pričiče), Krumpendorf, Drasing und Gurlitsch II.

The original name Chrumpendorf was probably derived from the local denotation krumpe Felfer (Slovene: vrba), i.e. "crooked willow".
