Kuhgir-e Sofla (Persian: كوهگيرسفلي)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Kuhgir Rural District of Tarom-e Sofla District, Qazvin County, Qazvin province, Iran.

[5] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 595 in 146 households.

[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 895 people in 256 households.

It was the most populous village in its rural district.
