Kuirei

National Highway 150 Imphal-Kohima via Jessami passes through the village.

[citation needed] The village is flanked by Phungcham and Peh in the west, Huishu and Khamasom in the east, Kalhang in the south and Ngahui and Marem in the North.

Locally inhabitants speak Kuirei dialect which belongs to the Tibeto-Burman language family.

According to 2011 census,[1] Kuirei has 141 households with the total of 767 people of which 386 are male and 381 are female.

Agriculture is the primary occupation of the inhabitants, and Kuirei is known for engaging in largescale apiculture.
