Kunioon is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.

[1] Kunioon Provisional School opened on 8 June 1891.

It reopened in 1928 and closed permanently circa December 1931.

[4][5] Kunioon West Provisional School opened in 20 January 1902.

On 1 January 1909, it became Kunioon West State School.
