[1] Pakistani military had opened a camp in Kushtia Zilla School during the 1971 war, They set up a torture cell there.

Kushtia Zilla School Debating club regular organizes various events & has been recognized as one of the most organized debating clubs in Bangladesh.

SSC 2023 result: Ahosanul Haque Shafat, a student of Kushtia Zilla School, ranked 1st position in SSC 2023 stipend list of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education , Jashore.

SSC 2024 result: 212 students, out of 261, got GPA 5.00 from Kushtia Zilla School in 2024 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination.

[6] The old students of Kushtia Zilla School arranged a reunion 2011 for celebrating its Golden jubilee.
