Kvarnsvedens IK is a Swedish football club located in Borlänge in Dalarna County.

[2] On 25 July 1962 BTK Verdandi application for membership of the Swedish Football Association was approved along with participation in the league system.

[3] Since their foundation Kvarnsvedens IK has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system.

[4] The club currently plays in Division 2 Norra Svealand which is now the fourth tier of Swedish football.
