There is an island platform with tracks which connects with the bus stop at ground level.

During this period the signalbox, a roundhouse with a turntable and a water tower were built on the site.

In 2016 the station was completed rebuild with new track layout and installation of an electronic signal box.

In December 2017, services on the Volme Valley Railway were extended from Meinerzhagen to Brügge.
