LaFayette L. Patterson

LaFayette Lee Patterson (August 23, 1888 – March 3, 1987) was a United States representative from Alabama.

Born near Delta in Clay County, Alabama, Patterson attended rural schools.

Patterson was elected as a Democrat to the 70th Congress to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of William B.

From 1948 to 1951 he was an assistant professor of history at his alma mater, Jacksonville State College.
