Niagara Falls City School District

The Niagara Falls City School District is a public school district containing 11 schools in Niagara Falls, New York.

The Superintendent of Schools is Mark Laurrie.

In 1953 the district purchased land in Love Canal from Hooker Chemical Company, fully aware that the land had been used as a toxic waste disposal site.

This would eventually lead to the Love Canal disaster.
