Lakeside is a town in Tarrant County, Texas, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.9 km2), all land.

As of the census[5] of 2000, there were 1,040 people, 419 households, and 343 families residing in the town.

16.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

The Town of Lakeside is served by the Azle Independent School District.
