Landrum is a city in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States.
It is located just west of Interstate 26 between Spartanburg and Asheville, North Carolina.
[6] The Landrum area was settled circa 1760 by homesteaders from Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.
There, they built a fort approximately two miles from the current City of Landrum.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.3 square miles (6.0 km2), of which 0.43% is water.
As of the 2020 United States census, there were 2,481 people, 1,125 households, and 632 families residing in the city.
