Lars Leiro

Lars Leiro (13 April 1914 – 22 March 2005) was a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party.

From August to September 1963 he served as the Minister of Transport and Communications during the short-lived centre-right cabinet Lyng.

His career in politics ended with the post of County Governor of Hordaland, which he held from 1966 to 1984.

[1] Leiro was a member of Voss municipality council from 1947 to 1960, serving as mayor in the period 1955–1959.
