The Las Piñas Boys Choir of Las Piñas, Philippines is a boys' choir made up of scholarship students at the St. Joseph's Academy, and performs regularly in the annual International Bamboo Organ Festival and at the Parish of St. Joseph.
In 1969, Father Mark Lesage, C.I.C.M., the parish priest of the Las Piñas Parish, suggested having a choir of boys in white soutanes sing on the stage during the Midnight Mass.
In 1972, they decided to participate in the First Children’s Choir Competition at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), still carrying the former name “Himig Kawayan Boys Choir”.
They became known as the Las Piñas Boys Choir during the 70s.
The second was recorded a few months later and released with the title: "Christmas Carols on the Las Piñas Bamboo Organ", with Zenas Reyes Lozada as accompanist.
