It was released through XO and Republic Records as the lead single from his upcoming third commercial mixtape, Nav2, on February 10, 2023.

Solely written and produced by Nav himself, the song was mixed by Ethan Stevens, mastered by Joe LaPorta, and engineered by Rodrigo Barahona.

[1] Over an atmospheric instrumental, Nav expresses his desire to be alone and tune out the outside noise, much like the lyrical topic of a regular song by him.

[2] The song sees Nav express his introverted personality, in which he raps in the chorus: "Lately, I just wanna be by myself / I can't hold it in, it's burnin' (Burnin') / I'm the only one that's earnin' / So let me do what I want (Yeah)".

[3] A slow song based on organ-led production, it contains a light instrumental that accompanies Nav as he expresses his emotions.
