Originally from or near Bologna and is referred to as Lattanzio Bolognese by Giovanni Baglione.
He painted frescoes for the Chapel of Pope Sixtus V in Santa Maria Maggiore, depicting figures like Tamar, Fares, Zara, Solomon y Boaz.
