Laurentides—Labelle

The district is located north of Gatineau and northwest of Montreal, in the Quebec region of Laurentides.

The main towns are Saint-Sauveur, Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Mont-Laurier, Mont-Tremblant and Val-David.

The neighbouring ridings are Argenteuil—Papineau—Mirabel, Pontiac, Saint-Maurice—Champlain, Joliette and Rivière-du-Nord.

According to the 2021 Canadian census[2] Ethnic groups: 95.0% White, 3.3% Indigenous Languages: 91.4% French, 4.7% English Religions: 69.1% Christian (62.9% Catholic, 6.2% other), 29.8% none Median income: $38,000 (2020) Average income: $48,760 (2020) The electoral district was created in 2004: 61.5 per cent of the riding came from Laurentides, 34.9 per cent from Pontiac—Gatineau—Labelle, and 3.6 per cent from Argenteuil—Papineau—Mirabel.
