Le Pouget

Le Pouget (French pronunciation: [lə puʒɛ]; Occitan: Lo Poget) is a commune in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region in southern France.

Le Pouget is situated on the sides of two valleys, Aumelas and Clermont L'Hérault.

The average annual rainfall is 680.8 mm (26.80 in) with October as the wettest month.

The temperatures are highest on average in July, at around 23.6 °C (74.5 °F), and lowest in January, at around 6.9 °C (44.4 °F).

The village was known for its circulade in the Middle Ages in the time of Louis XIV.
