Anolis leachii

A. leachii is native to Antigua and Barbuda, an island-nation in the Caribbean Lesser Antilles, where it can be found on both main islands.

It has also been introduced to Bermuda[3] and Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

[citation needed] A. leachii coexists with the smaller anoles A. wattsi on Antigua, and A. forresti on Barbuda.

[3] The natural habitat of A. leachii is shrubland, but it is also found in disturbed areas such as pastures and urban areas.

[1][2] The specific name, leachii, is in honor of English zoologist William Elford Leach.
