Left Unity (European Parliament)

Left Unity was a communist political group with seats in the European Parliament between 1989 and 1994.

Left Unity was founded on 25 July 1989[2] with 14[3] members.

These parties were generally hostile to Eurocommunism and were influenced by Moscow.

After the 1994 elections it became the "Confederal Group of the European United Left"[2] on 19 July 1994.
