Leisureville, Florida

Leisureville was a census-designated place (CDP) in Broward County, Florida, United States, and now a neighborhood of the City of Pompano Beach, Florida.

[2] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.6 km2 (0.23 sq mi), all land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 1,147 people, 725 households, and 300 families residing in the CDP.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 83.96% White (80.1% were Non-Hispanic White,)[3] 10.72% African American, 0.35% Native American, 0.61% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 0.26% from other races, and 4.01% from two or more races.

54.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 45.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
