Leon-Maurice Pöhls (born 1 May 1997) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for League of Ireland Premier Division club Shamrock Rovers.
Pöhls studied international business management.
[2] Pöhls started his senior career with English side Tadcaster Albion in 2016, where he spent three seasons before moving to League of Ireland Premier Division side Shamrock Rovers in 2019,[3] helping the club win the league.
[4] Since joining the club, he was the number two to Alan Mannus, but made 14 of his 19 league appearances in the 2023 season while Mannus was out of action with a finger injury.
[5] In October 2023 Shamrock Rovers manager Stephen Bradley announced Pöhls would be number 1 goalkeeper in the 2024 season, succeeding Mannus who retired from playing after the 2023 season.
