Lester Gatewood

Lester Boyd "Buddy" Gatewood (May 30, 1921 – April 9, 1965) was an American professional football player who was a center for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL).

He played college football for the Baylor Bears and Tulane Green Wave.

Gatewood was born in Dallas, Texas,[1] and played college football at Baylor University and Tulane University.

[2] He was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the eighth round of the 1943 NFL draft and played two seasons with the team.
