Leszno [ˈlɛʂnɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kutno, within Kutno County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland.
[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Kutno and 46 km (29 mi) north of the regional capital Łódź.
The village was granted by Archbishop of Gniezno Bogumilus to the Cistercians in the 12th century.
[4] Expelled Poles were enslaved as forced labour of new German colonists in the region.
