The east edge of the city of Remer is located within Lima Township geographically but is a separate entity.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 111 people, 40 households, and 37 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 93.69% White, 4.50% Asian, and 1.80% from two or more races.

7.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

There were 4.7% of families and 8.0% of the population living below the poverty line, including 19.1% of under eighteens and none of those over 64.
