Lipan (/ˈlaɪpæn/ LY-pan) is a city in northwestern Hood County, Texas, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2), all of it land.

The climate in this area is characterized by relatively high temperatures and evenly distributed precipitation throughout the year.

There were 204 housing units at an average density of 192.4 per square mile (74.3/km2).

29.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
