Liptovská Teplá (Hungarian: Liptótepla) is a village and municipality in Ružomberok District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1264.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 510 metres and covers an area of 9.431 km2 (4 sq mi).

It has a population of about 903 people.
