List of Emily Dickinson poems

This is a list of poems by Emily Dickinson.

In addition to the list of first lines which link to the poems' texts, the table notes each poem's publication in several of the most significant collections of Dickinson's poetry—the "manuscript books" created by Dickinson herself before her demise and published posthumously in 1981; the seven volumes of poetry published posthumously from 1890 to 1945; the cumulative collections of 1924, 1930, and 1937; and the scholarly editions of 1955 and 1998.

Important publications which are not represented in the table include the 10 poems published (anonymously) during Dickinson's lifetime;[1] and editions of her letters, published from 1894 on, which include some poems within their texts.

A row in the table below is defined as any set of lines that is categorized either by Johnson (1955) or by Franklin (1998)—or, in the vast majority of cases, by both—as a poem written by Emily Dickinson.

This mutual splitting results in a table of 1799 rows.

Proportion of Emily Dickinson's poetry published over time in the 7 Todd & Bianchi volumes, and the variorum editions of 1955 and 1998.
