List of Everton F.C. seasons

Everton, meanwhile, settled into nearby Goodison Park, where they have played ever since, in spite of a series of plans since the late 1990s to relocate the club to a new stadium.

After World War II, Everton's first major success came in 1963, winning the league title under the management of Harry Catterick, who added another league title to Everton's club honours in 1970 as well as the FA Cup in 1966 and the Charity Shield, in 1963 and 1970.

Everton's only trophies since 1987 came in 1995 when they won the FA Cup and the Charity Shield under the management of Joe Royle, who, like Catterick and Kendall, had been with the club during his playing career.

The appointment of David Moyes as manager in 2002 brought something of a turning point in Everton's recent history, as the Scot re-established the club as a regular feature in the top places of the Premier League, although he failed to add any trophies, the club being finalists in the 2009 FA Cup Final.

Koeman was replaced by Sam Allardyce with the team eventually finishing 8th in the Premier League.

On 6 December 2019, Silva was dismissed after a poor run of results left the club in the relegation zone.

His reign, however, only lasted six months; he was sacked on 16 January 2022, making him the shortest-serving permanent manager in Everton's history.

Two days later, on 11 January 2025, David Moyes agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract to return as the club's manager after 12 years.
