[1] As of 27 January 2025, forty-eight Sites have been designated as being of national significance (including one *Special Historic Site).

[2][3] As of 1 May 2024, one hundred and seven Sites have been designated as being of prefectural importance.

[4][5] As of 1 May 2024, a further three hundred and thirty Sites have been designated as being of municipal importance.
