The Masters world records in swimming are ratified by FINA, the international governing body of swimming.
Records can be set by registered Masters competitors.
The minimum age is 25 years in long course (50 metres) or short course (25 metres) swimming pools.

Age groups of relay events are as follows: 100 - 119, 120 - 159, 160 - 199, 200 - 239, 240 - 279, 280 -319, 320 - 359, and ...(forty year increments as high as is necessary).
